Express Yourself.. Poker Hold'em sign by a PYRO

Some people would call me a 'pyro' because I like to burn things. I would always aggravate friends/family members because I liked to see things burn. It almost always causes a mess and I probably don't have to mention the smell of it.....When I discovered wood burning, it was like I found a way to burn something (wood), without the horrible mess and stink, and I also didn't aggravate people but was appreciated by people when I finished a project. I just go out and buy different stencils, a piece of wood, and have at it until the piece is finished. I have recently just completed a piece that I didn't use stencils on, I drew it by hand for
my boyfriend/one of my close friends. He likes to play poker, so i designed a small sign that deals with poker. When I gave the finished sign to him, he loved it. It made me feel so good to see the look of appreciation on his face. I made something the he loved, and at the same time I got to do what I love.....burn stuff (wood). There is no mess, and you can only smell a hint of burning wood. If you have a fire place, then you wouldn\'t even be able to smell it. I have also done signs for his two children. I stenciled each of their names on a separate piece of wood, then a picture of something unique for each of them. For his son I stenciled a train, and for his baby daughter I stenciled roses. His son saw it and was wow ed by it, but he was also distracted by the toy trains that he got at the same time. His daughter (3 months) is too young to even know that it is her sign, but I\'m sure she will like it when she gets a little older. My cousin has asked me to make her something for her and her new husband, so that is my next project. For Christmas, my little brother gave me some pieces of wood that I can use to make things for different people. It\'s like my family and friends know that I like to wood burn and they support & appreciate me for it. They have even started requesting things for me to do. Pretty soon I may have to start charging for it! It\'s a fun hobby to pick up, and of you practice enough you will really see that people close to you like it too.\n \n",0]
